i have a crx and want to put my engine swap in(b18c5) you think i can get turbo with that hwo fast u think a b18c5 is stock 13 sec?

 

yea you will hit the 13 sec mark with a stock b18c5 if everything is running right, with boost around 8 psi you can make over 300hp, ive seen it done, but the type r has very high compression and adding more pressure could be dangerous, if you boost it, make sure you have an intercooler and an intercooler sprayer for safety. The hot air is what creates extra pressure

 

i think you're talking out your ***, i need to see some pics of the c5.

 

i think a 13sec c5 would be like, 13's fast.

drop her in.. you probably wont even need to go turbo to be satisfied.

I would sell it and get a lower compression bseries motor (b18b) then turbo that with the left over money.

 

 

 

ALI had a b18c5 in his crx. it was ok....not nearly as exciting as a turbo d tho.....waste of cash imo been there done that

 

Why not as exiting!!

 

C5 is a great engine, BUT turbo is the way to go now...
