B18C1 EK to 300whp
Alright, I've got most of it down but need some more help, and didn't want to thread-jack someone else.
I've decided for the most part, on a watercooled t3/t04 with .63 A/R for my B18C1 in my 96' DX coupe.
What I need to know is if that should be good enough for my goal of 300whp?
Or if there's anything about this setup i should be warned/told about.
Also there are a few choices that I dont get, and tried to ask in another post that was overlooked, which is the compressor trim letter.
There are S, H and another, but I don't know what they mean other than ones priced higher. I just wanted to make sure, before I bought one that wasn't the best for my goals.
Being the car's engine, paint, body, interior, and sound system are all being torn down and rebuilt, I need to make sure everything is done right the first time.
I have the money just not the know how on the Boosting subject.

Re: B18C1 EK to 300whp
I'm beggining to understand flow maps. But i still don't see any information on Trim Letters (H, S...)
I don't mean to be annoying I'm just trying to avoid a tunershop as much as possible
(until the actual tuning probably, i'm decent at math but that's SO many numbers! )
40 views and no reply?
Is there anyone out there with a decent setup similar to mine, B18c1 + t3/t04 in 'non-Si' EK(DX)?
Maybe like some writeups or pictures for reference?
I figured this swap/turbo setup would be covered more than anything
Edit: Also, whcih pieces to the turbo setup are needed to be special for the a/c and p/s to work? I think it's just the turbo manifold? I could be wrong..

Re: B18C1 EK to 300whp
One of the smaller t3/t4b's should get you to your goal of 300whp. You can search here and google, etc to find out how to read compressor maps and you can find calculators and what not, or another (practical) option is to call a couple of reputable dealers and ask what's a good choice for your setup. Precision, or one of their resellers should be able to help you out. Even digging through posts to see what other people have went with is good. I think a t3/t4b .63 would do ya for what you want, but I've never used one so I don't know. good luck
