b18c1 custom turbo

yo guys.....
i got a 95 acura integra gsr and i cant afford anything besides a custom turbo kit. the internals are all completely stock. i dont know much at all about turbo's, so im afraid of blowing up. i do know that i want a greddy type s blow off valve, i dont want a drag manifold, i want a shiny manifold, i dont want to to have to weld much or anything if its possible... i dont know how to weld, but my dad and friends do so if i have to its alright. i want to use stock injectors and stock everything, i can do the ecu hack myself if i need to.

could somebody build me up a turbo kit (on paper i mean, not literally)

for size of turbo, i was thinking of something like a t3 turbo or maybe a t4/t3 turbo to spool faster... let me know what you guys think.. like i said i dont know much.

thanks a lot guys!

oh... i would like to have somewhere around 250 hp, id love to be able to squack em shifting into 2nd, 3rd. and possibly 4th and 5th!!

i dont know if its possible on stock internals... who knows... like i said again.. i dont know much haha

thanks

Are you serious? Go on honda tech and buy a max rev kit.

ok one thing i will tell you. read hmt and honda-tech for a few months every day. because if you dont know much u will blow your engine up.

also loads of people have setups on gsr's go look at there setups and see what works.

Re:b18c1 custom turbo

I have been reading on hondatech.com for a long time, hondaswap.com also. But I have never done it myself, and I am going to be low on money. I read the hondaswap.com turbo article, and I've looked at stuff at hondatech.com, but they all say to buy a turbo kit from drag.... or revhard... or turbokits.com. Nobody has ever built a custom turbo kit.

Has anyone built a custom turbo kit for their gsr?
or is there a cheap turbokit that bolts right up to a gsr...
under like 2500... i seriously dont have that much money to spend on this.

you guys can get ahold of me on msn or aim...

aim: thepunkpester

thanks guys

Man all kinds of people build their own kits. The problem is you can't weld. You can get the max rev kit for $2400 through ks motorsports, they sell on H-T. That gives you pretty much everything you need to get an intercooled turbo setup on your car. You will have to get the charge pipes welded up since it comes with a DIY pipe kit. Honestly other than peicing together used parts thats the cheapest way to go. I wasn't being a smartass.. Well maybe a little. Tinker219 on ht will sell you a log mani and downpipe for about $400 I think. Then pic up a garrett turbo. T3/T4e 60trim with a .63ar turbine from cheapturbo.com Go to www.turbopiping.com for all the other parts you need.

Good luck
