I have a B18b, my setup consists of:

-14b
-BMC log manifold
-450cc
-uber
-probe intercooler

This is my question: Should I upgrade the internals of the 14b to 16g specs? and will it hands down outperform the 14b? Basically how much hp difference between the 14b & 16g on a b18b?

 

the 14b and 16 are way too small for that motor. go with a t3/t4.

 

the 16g flows just about as many cfm's as a t3/t4 would, but i'd get a big t3/t4 on a b series

 

By the way, I am only shooting for 230whp daily driven.

 

the 16g can get you there, the 14b is too small.

get a t3/t4 though, the 16g flange won't be easy to work with
