b18a1 pistons on eagle rods? please help if u have any info

i went out and got a set of eagle hbeam rods. i took them to a shop to have my factory pistons put on them. :6 break..... so tonight the guy at the shop tells me that the pistons will not go on the rods because of the bushing thats in them and i need pistons with snap in pin to hold the piston on the pin. is this true? or is there a way to put the b18a1 pistons on eagle hbeams and he just doesnt know it? need help asap thanks guys.

Read that thread and shut the ---- up. Your machinist always know what fits and what doesn't. It's their ------- job.

im pretty sure stock honda pistons use pressed in wrist pins, whereas ur eagle rods most likely have full floating wrist pins.

Way to faill...... :1

Note to you, bitch
People come here to learn and share. Not to be force fed the information into their head.
You start as a shitbag and work your way up. This isn't H-T bullshit here.

lol im glad u know how to play nice. but no seriously i had searched for probably an hour or 2 and found nothing about it thats why i posted, then i went and picked up the stuff today and saw what he was talkin about and figured it out. the way he explained it to me was all ass backwards, but its cool i got it now. now just starts the quest to find pistons at a decent price.

Sift through the HT classifieds, but that will require you to read a few FAQ's on basic search engine usage. Even Joseph Davis can use google, and I hear half his brain don't work...

I scored a box of brand-new Wiseco pistons for $300 to my door after looking for a week, along with two 3" elbows - awsome deal. You can always be cheap and get used pistons then toss new rings on them - the cost-benifit info is all in that link above. Right now a lot of the people out of work need to sell stuff dirt-cheap, and their loss is your gain.
