Re: b18a1 b16 oil pump ?
i have used type r oil pumps on a few ls motors, i believe all obd1-2 oil pumps are the same on the outside + or- the crank pick up

Re: b18a1 b16 oil pump ?
For a LS you need to use a GSR 1.8 belt though correct?

Re: b18a1 b16 oil pump ?
from what i know you dont need a vtec timming belt to run a vtec oil pump 0n a Ls ...
now if you have a ls and you want to use a vtec water pump you need a gsr timming belt , |
Re: b18a1 b16 oil pump ?
The oil pump doesnt change what timing belt is needed. If you have a vtec WATER PUMP then use a vtec belt. If you have a non-vtec WATER PUMP then use a non-vtec belt. All b series oil pumps are interchangeable.

Re: b18a1 b16 oil pump ?
the 19 and 22 tooth count is on the water pump, like on my lsvtec i had a b16 water pump so a ls belt was either to small or big and a gsr was inbetween i dont qiute remember but i dont think id have a prob seeing the lower gear just slides on the crank. anyways thanks for the info
