b16injectors

Hi im new here just had a question i was at the JY the other day and found a turbo laser was wondering if anyone knew if there 450cc? and if they are will they clip straight in ? running obd1

depending on if it was auto or stick it would be 390 or 450cc injectors. you have to drum sand out a little bit of the bottom o ring on the intake manifold for them to fit nicely in there and you need to run a resistor box or inline resistors on the power wire. also the plus its self there is a little tab on the inside that you need to take a razor blade and trim it off so that your obd1 plugs fit

if it was an awd laser than they are 450's

even better than sanding out the o-ring if you kinda push them in with out sanding then tighten the rail down on them it works bvetter because you dont get the chance of getting a vacuum leak

not to start a fight but i did that and in about 10k miles one of them must have hardend slightly and it ripped and caused me to lean out one cyl.

just make sure that they are pushed all the way inn

2BarRacing 06-20-2009 10:51 PM

and i wasnt saying hog them to hell just take the little rib in the middle out

pojet14 06-20-2009 10:58 PM

just go to your local shop and get o rings super cheap

2BarRacing 06-20-2009 11:01 PM

actually 4 o ring kits will pry cost more than the inj themselves there like 12$ a peice. if they were so cheap why would we be sanding our stock ones out
