B16a need help to boost
 

Ok so i have a 2000 civic si with a jdm b16a and i wanna boost it but i wanted to kno what are all the parts that i need including turbo trim and whats a good website to buy a kit frm? Ebay? O and do i really need a bov? All help would b appreciated tnx

i don't believe u really need a blow off valve to say .. like a noise maker theres recirculating valves i believe to jus release the extra pressure nd make no noise

you 100% need a bov. without it, you're going to be applying pressure to your throttle plate. $15 for a used stock bov or a few hundred for a new throttle body...

if you dont have a bov or a recirculating valve you will damage the turbo due to compressor surge.

full race, drag, peak boost all make great kits that come with everything you need except a tune... keep in mind turboing a 00si you wont pass emissions any more... and you need a bov there's no way around it if you want it to run right... have fun and be prepared to spend some money and dont buy that ebay crap
