b16a head question

Default b16a head question

hi, i have a b16a head built. has port n polish, retainers, dual valve springs. skunk2 stage 1 cams?? and i was wondering if i put on a a greddy turbo with this built head with the skunk2 cams will it have problems with high compression? im only planing to boost 7or8 psi anyone that could help thanks.

cams dont make compression dude, the cams should be fine, you need a block for that head, or turboing the head wont do much, cause it wont run

as ^^ josh said, the b16a head will not make the compression any higher unless it was milled. The b16a head is actually the lowest compresson head out of the b-series. All the valve train work will just help, it wont make things worse. I've heard a few guys on HT running skunk stage1 cams for FI setups, and have been pretty well pleased.
