b16 turbo new boy

ok well im new and ive had a crx for around 2 years now. i blew my stock motor messing around and decided to swap. i put in b16a from hmotors. ok now im bored with that and i would like to put a turbo setup together. i dont have a huge budget but i think im going to go with a t3 turbo. dsm blow off valve dsm side mount and dsm 450 injectors. i would also end up getting the ecu chipped. i would like to run around 8lbs of boost. my question is should i build my bottom end or not. i would like this motor to last a while and not have to work on it everyother day. well thanks in advance.

Sounds like a solid HMT setup. No, you won't need to build your motor. Since you said you are getting a chipped ecu ::pats n00b on the back:: as long as you get it tuned well your stock bottom end will handle the boost just fine.

Based on the setup you have in mind, if you are lucky and get some good deals, everything should cost about $500-$600. This includes an upgraded clutch and pressure plate.

When Jagojon3 said you are a noob he doesn't mean you are new to imports/cars, but new to this forum (only two post) 8).
