I don't like H22 motors at all. Myself personally, I think an H22 bastardizes a CRX more than altezza tail lights because every single ricer out there thinks H22's are the be all end all of honda motors.

That probably includes you, but I don't think you're capable of pulling a swap or turbo kit off successfully.

the problem with boosting vtec is that vtec is to powerful for turbos and spools them way to fast and that breaks the turbo and also ***** up the vtec spool valve

Well now...taking from these 2 statements I'm going to say that no, you don't know how to boost a Honda. Boosting vtec? WTH kinda question is that? A secondary cam lobe takes over to allow more airflow into the cylinder, and you ask if it's a problem? The entire point of boost is to, in essence, shove more air into the cylinder than is normally allowed in n/a form. That secondary lobe makes the job of the turbo a little easier so it doesn't have to work as hard to produce the power goals you're trying to achieve.
As for how much hp it will make, you're a retard. I personally have had b16 turbo setups that made anywhere from low 200hp to low 300hp, and all on a completely stock engine. There are others who've made much more than that with internals and a properly sized turbo for their goals. Reliability is completely up to you...if you skimp on the tuning end, I can guarentee you won't make it past the mid 200's and last more than 3 months.
And asking if the 1st gen b16a is going to be better than a second gen (or third), or vice versa, is like asking if the red 12" ***** fits better in your *** than the blue 12" *****.
You have alot of reading and researching time ahead of you. Do yourself a favor and start by reading ALL the stickies at the top of this section, and make your way through all the sections in this forum.

Well, this raises a very important point. It is crucial that you match your turbo to the Spool valve that you have in your car. 1st gen B16's really benefit from a Large T4, and boy they certainly love advanced timing, especially in the high, boost/high load areas of your maps. Oh, by the way, where you crack'n Vtac??

just make sure you dont get injectors bigger than 240cc's. it will cause it to run way to rich with anything bigger
