b16 question
hello i just had a couple more questions when i hook up my oil feed line to my turbo can i hook it up to my oil cooler? and on the fmu with is the in and witch is the out for the fuel??? thanks
oh and one more thing how do the b16 trannys and clutch hold up to around 7psi?? |
Re: b16 question
tranny holds up fine, clutch will be gone in a few months depending on how much power you are putting to the ground.
not sure about the oil cooler. Dont have one, but i'm sure you can from block -> in side of oil cooler -> out side of oil cooler -> turbo -> oil pan. |
Re: b16 question
thanks... does anyone know about the fmu?? it looks just like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...sspagename=WDVW
witch is the in and witch is the out for the gas flow??? and should i install this before or after the fuel filter? thanks tyrell |
Re: b16 question
fmu goes on after fpr, the fuel line coming off the fpr goes to the fmu, hook up vac line and there should be arrows in out on the fmu.

Re: b16 question
i hope you're not thing of hooking up the lines that connect to the oil cooler for oil...arent those coolant lines?
|
Re: b16 question
no i was thinking of tapping in to that.... the oil cooler that is like putting a brass t and just doing it like that or will that not work? thanks
|
Re: b16 question
are you talking about an after market oil cooler or the stock b16 oil cooler because the stock oil cooler has coolent running thru them and you do not tap that line to your turbo.
|
Re: b16 question
yeah i was thinking about tapping into the stock one thanks for letting me know it has coolant in it instead of oil saved me a ton of needless work...thanks
