b16 CRX... need help w/ turbo

I have been doing a lot of research lately and my plans kind of seem crushed.. I have a b16a1 that i'm turbocharghing with a t3 or t3/t4. I want to get up to 350hp eventually but is this a possible reality? with how much boost? 20psi?

on a stock motor i would only go about 15 psi. and that will get u about 300 hp(from a dyno graph i saw, u may make more or less power depending on turbo, and tune). so u should get atleast 350 on 20 psi, but u will need to do something to the motor internaly.

In my multiple ring-land breaking OEM internaled B16 venture, Id only go 10psi with that turbo (t3/4 57 trim) on stock 10.2 CR. I bet you could get away with 12, but only if you have a 2nd car and a good ear for detonation lol.
For low/mid 300's, Id go 9:1, 16* of timing up top and 15psi. That should get you close. You only need to carry 230ish flt/lbs of torque to 8k to get 350whp. Stock rods will be fine.

IMHO of course

I'm only goin to about 9 on stock MAF. I'm doin pistons and rods when I do the MAF and I'll have is sleeved before I go above 13. So I should be able to get to 300 on about 15 psi with a good tune and a good turbo? What trim t3 should I go with to be able to get the most out of my turbo from 13-20 psi on a b16a1? I'll be using turboedit and dyno tune it too. I'm also gonna be doin some head work and probly bigger throttle body and a higher flowing intake mani. Custom 3 inch exhaust is goin on same time as turbo. When I get it sleeved, how much would it help to increas displacement a little?

hondas dont have maf (mass air flow meters) ???
if you bore your new sleeve it will make it weaker.

boring aftermarket sleeves is no biggie, boring stock sleeves might n ot be the smartest thing for strength

ok, but after correcting me and answering one of my questions i still have 2 unanswered... what type of t3 would be good for a b16a1 at 9-20 psi... more or less a good turbo to start off with at 9 psi but with its higher efficiencies in the 13-20 psi range? And can i expect to reach 350hp with this setup with some work to the head and manifolds?

A straight T3 isnt gonna cut it for your goals. A T3/4 will.
Even though I didnt make it to 300 on my 60/63 T3 I still think they are good for an honest 300whp at 14ish psi on a B16. So long as your setup alows your TQ curve to carry all the way to 8k before it dumps; mine didnt.

So how much abuse can the stock sleeves take before they bite the dust? What is the first weak link you encounter when boosting...I'm assuming ringlands because of what leed said.

Have any pics or vids of your car with the B16 in it leed?
