how come when i unplug the waste gate, i only have a max of 11psi. its a turbonetics evolution wastgate. turbonectics 60-1 turbo. do you think this is because i have stock cams?
what do you guys think my problem is, i asked last month the same question but no good answers

there is a 7psi spring in there with 3 shims. when i hook the wastegate to a vacume source it only spools 5 to 6psi.. when i unhook the wastegate so it is not even opening the wastegate. it spools 11psi max at 8000rpms WTF!!!!!!

sounds like a leak.. if i unhokked my wastegate id spike to 70 psi. your setup is leaking bottom line.

they are all solid charge pipes with ebay blue cuplers. ebay cheap intercooler.. how can i test for leaks

exhaust from where.. from mani to turbo.. i know its not leaking from the head to mani. i was just looking at my car.the only place i could have a leak is at the turbo to mani, or intake , intercooler. what do you think. hotrex.. i have been a member for 2 years and just wanted to tell you that you are a bitch just have not had the chance. but thanks alot for your help and input

i checked wastegate to mani. its not that i am going to get a intake gasket this week and start there..
