B-series turbo manifold question

which side is the wastegate (Tial 35mm) best on the right or left? btw no power steering or AC crap. and the intake side will be on the right the exhaust on the left.

Which is better? Define better? they work both the same on right as it does on the left. If you are worried on clearence issues, just pop your hood and take a look.

But those manifolds are differnt. The second one has a better location for the external gate. You can see how its plumbed directly on the collector, meaning a less likly issue of boost creep.

obviously, it will be easier to plumb your wastegate discharge if the wastegate is faced the oppisite side of your compressor.

oops, i was talking about clearances. but anything in general. should i vent the wastegate into the air or plumb it back into the exhaust? i can see know that the WG and the compressor on the same side might not be the best idea...

"just little looks here and there"
Dustin don't be peekin at my ----.
ya i run closed wastegate. and remember that if your wasategate is on the compresser side its going to be a bitch to plumb in but if you dont plumb it in your going to be dumping hot exhaust right in front of the turbo inlet and thats no good, plus open wastegate sounds like a big huge lesbian ----- fart...ick
