whats a good sized turbo to use on a b16 or a b18? i know alot of people have d-series. what do the b series guys use?

 

i had a t3 .42/.48 and it pulled very good all the way up to 8000 RPM on my 99 civic SI, some people say T3's are too small but its bull ----, it really depends on how much money you want to spend, i just upgraded to a t3t4 because i had some extra money and my T3 was gettin old.hope i helped

 

A mild T3/T4 works pretty well on B-series, maybe a little laggy on a stock B18, but definatly room for improvement.

 

I have heard the T3 .42/.48 doesn't even pull very good all the way to redline on a d-series. It might pull to redline just not as hard as let's say a T3 .60/.48 (turbo I am going with on my d16z6). I would imagine for a b-series a t3/t4 would be something you would want to look into.

 

Thats what I got... I'll let you know in 2 months how my car turns out... I'll make sure to put up dynos and post up pictures of my car... HAH =)

hotrex t3 is for sale. price in in the for sale forum.

I think u are better off buying the T3 0.60 for the B18 motor.

smaller t3 0.40 for the D series to B16a
