B.O.V

hello every one
I'm kinda of new to the turboed cars, I have a 1995 TSI AWD and looking to get a little more boost out of the turbo, however I'll need a new BOV that will handle at least 15-18psi.
do you know where I can find one that I do not have to spend a lot of money on it.

thanks

yeah thats probably your cheapest solution, and they sound decent, if not, the ole' greddy type S is always an option, and now since they make all thos copies of them, they are even cheaper, Ebay is your friend!

And remeber, you need a Bypass valve. no venting to atmosphere for you if you want the car to run right.

because you have an AFM and get a 1g dsm one.

If you don't know what that means, find out.

Re: B.O.V

Because your system uses a Mass Air Flow Meter instead of Manifold Pressure. Your ECU is going to measure an amount of air entering your intake system and add fue by that measurement. If you venting to atmosphere you are releasing an amount of air that fuel has been added for, causing you to suddently go rich, which can cause your engine to stumble and posibly delay spool p times, ruin idles and generally loose performance.

Most BOVs can be Bypass too. You just need to be able to connect the re-circulate hose to the BOV outlet, it can be a bypass. Most people like BOV because they make nice ricer wooshes.

just use the gm maft setup. its the best way to vent. i kno u can ghetto it tho with ur safc tho. anywho dont b stupid. its just a bov sound man. ur car will run much smoother not venting or with a maft setup.
