Very nice, but why the ---- would you instal the air filter so it sucks all the hot air from the radiator in? Damn, I guess that can be fixed, but why?

I use my s-10 for crusin and my mazda for racing, And I've never been beat by a civic. Street or track.

You're telling me your S10 smokes Civics? What exactly is done to your little S10 and what kind of Civics were you racing. A stock S10(4 cylinder) will not pull on a stock Civic unless the Civic has problems.

I was actuly taiking about my mazda not my s10, my s10 has a Lt1 punched dynoed 475 hp 13.5 slicks posi. I realy dont think you civic would be to much of a problem. But I know there are some out there that are realy nice and fast.
Most just put on loud exhaust and parade around town. Larry |

Well, if his S-10 daily driver makes 475hp from an LT-1 and his mazda is the faster of the two... I doubt he'd have any trouble from 99.7% of the civics out there, but I guess there is always a guy with $30K in a honda ( IE: drag suspen., Built B18C5, T3/T4 turbo ) that could beat him or at least come close..
I hate all S-10s, minus the ones that sport LT-1s... I'd like to see one with an LS-1 and 150shot.. |

I dont know what your civic runs, Lets say at very best it could run in the 9-10's I wouldnt be that far behind you, I have never turned down a race you never know what will happen. My mazda, It's not crazy fast, We have just been working on it, all the little stuff, plus a turbo kit It has a small turbo so It has wild low end to about 140ish than it kinda dies off, it will still do over 200 but not as fast. And I dont think you know what i'm saying, Acivic has never beat me, But there is nothing in this town that is like a fast furious car. I know there are fast civics out there. Most people with civics think beacuse it says honda it will beat everything on the road. What do you run?

i have about $4k in my $650 honda and with about 4k more i will be in the 12s with a built b18c1, hondas arent incredably fast they are just fun to build, and easy as hell to work on, i like them.
that s10 is pretty cool, i wonder how fast it is.. and if it would keep up with a v8 s10.. traction must be a bitch with those wonderful no rear weight, leaf suspension, and that one even had radials. my daily driver is a 96 mazda b2300 and even with a 75 shot it is slow. |

My truck in my opinoin is awesome. But when you race it is hard, all it does is spin. I can lay ruber posi at 120

lemme see if i'm am hearing you right. you're going 120. and you punch it. you spin the tires? BULLLLLLSHIT.
with only 475hp? you're crazy. whats the torque numbers on that engine you built. with 500ft-lbs, cruising at 55mph. i can shift down from 4th and spin a couple times, with big ass tires but with skinny tires i can spin forever (i've done it before and almost crashed). but @ 120. if you spin the tires you're going to crash. |

he has no weight over the rear axle, on a stock ranger (90hp even less torque to the rear wheels) in the rain it will spin at 75 mph in 4th gear.. not a good idea to do that btw.

Larry I was just messin with you anyways. As of today my Civic is no longer. It underwent some major surgery and will never be driven again. the v6 s10s will roast any integra, civic, crx. all stock of course. i roast ricers all the time in a 1999 dodge dakota slt v8. i held even with a 91 integra LS with i/h/e. in a truck. hillarious

i test drove a v6 s10. it was quick. after a while of driving a honda with a CAI you start to think its fast. but its not. trucks are faster than them.

kinda but not really. that is a GMC sonoma i believe. thats what a syclone is based on. the typhoon is based on the GMC SUV of the time.
syclones are AWD too. |

syclone was a 4.3L and was the fastest production truck built to date, back in 1991. 13.0 !!!
One of the many reason I hate the corvette.. Syclone smacks the piss outta the corvette, then GM axes the syclones.. Vettes suck ( gotta give props to the Z06, but its still a "mid-life crisis" car ). |

on my old rx, i can spin the tires going 65.
i had 4.30 final ratio on my rear end and it had a v8 it. lots of torque and narrow rev range makes traction impossible, and was swapped out with 3.xx much better for highway/street! |

neo is right. i can only spin the tires over a couple times @ 55mph with .373 gears.
but with this mini tires i put on it for fun, i could spin them forever. the tires where shorter, and it prob changed the gear ratio to .450 somethin |
