Default ATP's new internal WG

Anyone seen ATP's New wastegate. Looks like a good solution for simplicity and space constraints, but I wonder how well this thing would perform. I wonder how big the flapper valve is. What do you guys think?

It looks great and i would imagine it would work just as good as it looks.

I've heard very bad things about ATP's customer service from VW guys and Audi guys alike. I've also heard that their dyno's are bullshit too because they use race gas and advance the hell out of the timing and ---- like that.

Proceed with caution.

That sucks to hear the bad news about ATP. I have a friend with a GTI who wants to do an upgrade, and I was thinking about pointing him in theiur direction. I was thinking about using the gate on my teggie. I still need to pull the stock manifold off and see what kind of room I have up there. I'm kinda doing it the hard way because I don't want to loose AC or PS.

Kinda pricey, but pretty sweet if you have a JY turbo that didnt come with the WG housing and you wanna get it up and running asap.
For the $$ though, why not just get a freakin Ext gate.

I've purchased from ATP before, all small stuff like drain flanges and v-bands, always had good service. Some of their stuff is fairly priced, but I have no clue about their dynos or anything. Not saying anyone's wrong, just saying that is *my* personal experience. Both sides of the coin.

For $168, and still needing an actuator... that probably needs to be fabbed to fit the turbo... the 510 whp Evo a friend was working on last week had a GT35R with the Ford 5 bolt turbine flange. It had the internal wastegate aperature in the turbine housing. Someone had made a nifty old ramhorm style mani for it, but plumbed an external wastegate off the 5 bolt DP flange where the aperture is. Pretty clean setup. Made it easy to route dump tube back into the exhaust.
