anyone? list ur setup and where did u locate it?

i checkedout the turbo projects section, didnt really find any sidemounts being used.

 

Alot of people use FMIC cuase they look sexy, You can find SMIC all over EGAY or go to your local junkyard and look for some eclipse or talon turbos ull find them there too

 

I'll be using a DSM sidemount located where the resonator box is behind the bumper cover on the passenger side. I have a 90 CRX si with the fog light cutouts, so I'll just cut that out and do a little ducting into the IC for the coolest charge air. I'm also going to setup a switchover from my wiper sprayers to a custom IC sprayer I'm making.

 

yeah i already got a sidemount off of a talon, i was wondering where people located it, and on what car.. im putting mine on a crx i wanted to put it where the Cold air intake filter was, (infront of passenger side wheel).. and was curious if anyone had pics of how they routed their piping, thats all

 

I've got a dsm mounted where the air filter box goes in my eg hatch. It's a ghetto setup but it's better than no intercooler at all. I picked up a saab blackstone smic which I'm gonna replace the dsm with since its bigger and nice than the dsm one. It only set me back 20 bones at a pick and pull. The turbo is getting pulled next and they only charge 50 for any turbo there!

 

I'm using a Lebaron sidemount....it's thick almost or 3 inches and not that long and not that tall...looks like a little FMIC...So I'm using it as an FMIC

 

Anyone using the Supra SMIC?

 

I used them on my crx.They work decent on low boost.

 

what about the rx7 sidemount ic, anybody using it?
