I'm just wondering if anyone has used these and if it really doesnt need a gasket.

 

im sure a gasket whouldnt hurt, atleast make one

 

Are you talking about thin cardboard with copper spray?

 

u chould do that or go buy the make ur own gasket ----, and cut it out

 

there's really no need to use one unless your feed hole isn't threaded on the turbo, but most are, so you just use the 1/8npt -> AN fitting provided with almost all oil line kits. my feed hole wasn't threaded, but i just used a 1/8 tap and threaded it in about 5 minutes. if you want to spend the money, go for it, they work fine, but yeah, use a gasket

 

How did you not get shavings in your turbo though?

 

I use one of those.
Mine came with a gasket.

 

jus what ive been lookin for, thanks.

 

put grease on the tap to catch the shavings, pull it out every couple turns and wipe the grease/shavings off and put fresh grease on it

 

bought mine from tunertoys and it came with a gasket and screws.
