anyone running ebay turbo exhaust?

i need an exhaust for my 93 Civic Hatch... been on a serious search for something that isnt ----, i dont want noise... if this fucker sounds like a Honda i will part it out. not joking...

they got some shinny pos lookin exhausts on ebay they are like 180bucks shipped... which is cheaper than i can find a DIY kit with no ------ muffler or resonator..

any of you assholes run one of these? opinions? ricer noise? quality? or find something better/cheaper...

no open downpipe comments, not an option, and it has nothing to do with noise/police/whatever...

2 1/4" inlet, so you'd better think about that because I'm sure your DP isn't that small not too mention it bolts to your stock cat.

Re: anyone running ebay turbo exhaust?

i have a CX... stock cat is mounted on the exhaust manifold (HF manifold style) and has LONG since been thrown away...

i have two 3" 3 bolt exhaust collectors in the garage waiting for this project (one for DP one for exhaust) and i will be putting a 3" flex section in also...

i noticed that right off, and dont care, it WILL be cut off...

Re: anyone running ebay turbo exhaust?

From what i hear they fit fairly well.Im going to buy that exact system my self and obviously just cut the flange off and extend the pipe to meet my downpipe.Really its pretty hard to ---- up exhaust :-\

Re: anyone running ebay turbo exhaust?

I have had 2 of the Tsudo/Tenrai systems from Ebay. They seem to fit well and neither have fallen apart yet. For what it cost me it wasnt worth my time to do it myself.

local exhaust shop can probably make one for you for about 100 bucks. :6

I just bought a piece of 2 1/2" straight pipe that was 10 feet long. Had to make 1 angle to go under the gas tank and out the corner of my EF. :6

use that, cut the muffler off sell it to a ricer and run a magnaflow 5x8x14 oval, paint it all flat black except for a stock looking stainless tip. O0

i put a tsudo catback on a friends accord and put a header on at the same time and it had a mellow tone not like a lawnmower or your typical mexi-ricer sound.. i liked it

UUUUHHH my exhaust is mandrel and it cost me 95 bucks.... and its only illegal for them to work in the area of the cat so if you have a down pipe that extends past the cat you can usually get them to do it for you. I live in Florida and theres no emission checks here. so no cat for me. ;D

Re: anyone running ebay turbo exhaust?

I have a Tsudo 2.5 N-1 on my 98 civic. I think it buzzes a little when the car is cold, but once it heats up it sounds nice. I still have the cat in as my car is still N/A.

Oh and if you do buy one, make sure you buy one from an auction that advertises it as a TSUDO exhaust, not just a single line in the auction that says "made by TSUDO". I think a seller was selling some rejected ones on there a while ago. When I ordered mine, the first one I got fit like ---- and the axel back was welded crooked as ---- to the flange, but it didn't have any badges on it saying it was a TSUDO. I had to ride the guys ass to get one that fit. The new one I got had the name badges on the canister, and it fit fine.
