What does that mean?

You want to run a line off the throttle body? Or no?

no i want to eliminate the coolant line running through the throttle body and just hook it up directly to the block. that way the throttle body should be at a cooler temp when engine is running, since hot radiator fluid won't be running through there.

Wow... I really don't know if that's possible.

I thought the water going through there was supposed to absorb some heat as it passes through, keeping your TB cooler. If you take it out... I'm really not sure what would happen.

I would leave it on if it's a daily driver and it's cold where you live. If not, bypass it. I don't like the idea of hot water running through my throttle body.

I've taken it off all my cars. Some TB's don't even have the circuit so you don't have to worry about bypassing anything.

My butt dyno says no BUT I don't like the idea of hot coolant running through my intake manifold & TB. I think on a higher output motor there might be some gains. I think overall with it done I notice a little more "pull" on the highway and less bogging of the engine under high heat.

IMO if you have the time (30-45 min) and tools to do it; why not .
