Default anyone made their own gaskets??

Hey guys, I needed to make some gaskets (wastegate and where the turbo meets the manifold, and also the one where the downnpipe meets the turbo)

the problem is. I didn't want to order them and wait days before I can finish my project. I don't think aluminum will hold up well. Anyone here made their own? What did you use?

THanks for any help!!

This is ghetto, but has worked for me 3 times now. I found some sheet metal, and cut it to the shape I needed. I did this for the turbo to DP flange. It has never leaked yet. The other gaskets were found at a local diesel supply/repair shop.
