Anyone Have 2 move rad. back 4 FMIC
I was woundering after looking at the turbo projects section where he said he used a Starion FMIC and had to move the radiator back acouple of in.'s to make it fit better. Has any here running FMIC have to do this. Reason being is that I have a Starion FMIC and I'm using a DSM SMIC right now but I'd like to switch to my FMIC just to see how I like it since I've heard mixed things about whats better on honda's. Oh my car is a 91' Civic HB by the way. Also I'm gonna try to use the factory end tanks location when using the Starion and if I can't then I'll just sent it to " The drop shop " they modify starion IC's for $75 not bad for the price but I haven't seen their craftsmenship yet. Also I noticed that the starion IC end tanks sit just like the Greddy IC for the 92'-95' civic sits where both end connections sit on the same side. Basicly if you turn the Starion upside down it'll look just like the Greddy. Thanks for any help I can get.

The GReddy type31 FMIC is not even close to that. I have it. I think that the type24 is not neither. You will most likely have to get that Starion FMIC modified if you want to make it look clean. My friend has one on his 00 civic coupe and had it right side up. It looked weird to me. He didnt have to move the radiator tho. He just had to cut some plastic off from the inside of the front bumper piece. Goodluck man. If I was you, just get a custom one from CustomCoach. It looks like this: http://www.imgmag.org/images/thermal...rplate2753.jpg
I got lucky and paid only $250 for it.
