I am running a y8 with ihi vj-11, hf mani, dsm 450s, obd2-1 harness,and chipped p06.
When i got everything on i had wrong size injectors and car would run super rich, and threw intake temp code. fixed that then the car ran worse with no cel. then cel comes on and throws no codes just stays lit and car was running.
Now with new injectors, dsm450s, cel is still on. car still runs rich and goes into safe mode and wont go past 2000 rpm.
Tried 2 maps with ecu, basemap and my buddies final lean tune (He was running EXACT set up on his rex)

Whats up, is my ecu ----? our is it solder job? Thought injectors would fix the problems but i ran into more

could be your ecu take it out and put some pics up of your solder job

cameras charging, got ecu from whiterice, solder job looks godd could ecu just be done?

doubtful..did you put the chip in backwards? could have a bad burn or bin file also.. or worst case scenario ESD

could be bin file,the two chips included with the ecu were giving us problems, so local tuner burned the 2 maps on 2 new chips, he said they burnt.
Whats ESD?

Electro Static Discharge when you mess with anything inside the ecu you need to rub something metal to take any stored up static charge from you or you risk shocking the ecu with static electricity and burning microscopic holes in the board chip ect..

got a buddy bringing his chipped p28 over tomarrow and well see how it goes.

swapped my p06 into buddies gsr hatch,with his chip, and it ran like ----, sputtering through the rpms.
put his p28 into my coupe, and it wouldn't start, think my plugs are fouled but ran out of time today.
compared the 2 ecus and mine had a double stacked socket, took off the second socket and my cel turned off.
Is there a difference between the 2 ecus after theyve both been chipped? because my chips were burnt for use in p28 and ive got a p06 will that make a big difference?

chips can be used regardless of what chip it is.. sounds like you need to swap out your plugs,check the gap,and try it if it still runs like *** try either reburning the bin you have or just try a diff bin file all together

pulling out the plugs right now and like i said i have 2 maps on seperate chips, but as for the ecus is there a difference between the p06 and p28.
