I found this turbo. I was wondering if any of you had any experience with this turbo before.

That's a nice looking snail. Never heard of the seller. I've seen some of his auctions before though.

Obx makes turbos?!?! lol

Thermalfi'd16: that is another account for the Imfamous SSautochrome.... i found that out after talking to them.

i ended up picking up that obx manifold and im going to see if it works. they guarenty (sp) that it wont crack, so im kinda hoping it will! ;D

I bought one off of them and the first turbo did not even spool-they sent me another one and the seals went within two days- :o :( >:(
fricken pissed me off-seemed like rebuilts to me
so i got smart and bought garret

That's enough to keep me off them. My friend has one too. He had to send his back to get it rebuilt/looked at by them....

Looks like SSautochrome to me... I can tell by the ugly sheet they use to take the pictures over.... can recoginize that ugly ass horseblanket anywhere.....

this doesnt really make a difference in the turbo besides maybe a month 4 years down the road. i have had experience with both and i felt that the water cooled was just a pain in the ass to rig up.

stone mountain racing = ssautochrome they have the same parts and if i remember correctly they have the same website. don't buy that turbo.

Thanks... I already decided not to. I think I'll just have to shell out more $$ and get a www.cheapturbo.com version. Peace
