Anybody ever use these pistons?

I am trying to find pistons that would work well in my 1996 honda civic dx d16y7 without any real modification. So i was looking at the srp pistons part #149208. I was curious if anyone has ever tried these and are they the standard bore size? I would also like to know what rods you would recommend. On a side not how hard would the installation be of these pistons and rods? thanks

You can check them out on srp.com

I am curious though how hard it is to install pistons and rods? I am thinking about purchasing another d16y7 and building that while i drive the current one in my car untill it dies.

If anyone could help me out that would be great.

p.s. does anyone have any install guides on pistons and rods?

Use the search function and you will be rewarded. SRP makes a good piston. you will have to notch the block with new rods, there are a few that don't need it, but most do.

I am trying to make the install the easies on myself possible so what rods do not need to notch the block for?

I think the H or I beams. Not totally sure without looking.

If you are going to be tearing the motor apart the notching of the block isn't gonna be an issue.

Well i am trying to do something that is the easiest for me i was going to get it installed by someone else but from what i hear it can be quite expensive so i was thinking about doing it myself but it seems like this may be slightly harder than i am ready to handle
