any of these good setups??
 
i am wondering if any of these are good. not really worried bout the price, i am just wondering of the quality of the kits. thanks

Out of the two the second one is only a tiny bit better since it has a cast mani. Even though it still consists mostly of CDM products.

from the stuff i have read, sss autochrome cracks like a mofo.I knew that. I wasjust wondering if it is still morereliable than homemade setups.

a homemadeturbo setup is only as reliable as the person that built it. if you just throw parts on because they work it wont be that great, if you spend more time planning, and researching than you do on looking at cheap ass "bolt on" kits you will be better off. if you are scared to put together a homemadeturbo setup then you dont need a boosted car that bad.

one of my friends has the first kit.. works pretty good on 6lbs. We once bumped it up to 10lbs, and broke the downpipe in 2. The manifold has cracked once, but he didn't have it braced. And when we first got the turbo, we had to send off to replace seals, cause it was blowing oil. (but I think he mighta dropped the bitch on accident) So I dunno.

unless you are a good shopper, ;D, but yeah, when buying new, that rule of thumb is very true.
