Re:another stealthmode oil line question
ill just get a 90degree fitting or something becuase the wastegate is already mounted up and i dont feel like having to go through that agian. where could i get fitting

Re:another stealthmode oil line question
I had the EXACT same problem your having. I tried a 90 bend and it caused alot of smoking. I ended up clocking the turbo quite a bit more, and i had to drill out the bracket for my wastegate actuator so i could rotate it. I still get some smoking but nothing like before

Re:another stealthmode oil line question
what about a 45degree fitting and ill cut the crossmember just enough to get clearance
BTW here are some pics of how the turbo is mounted! http://s92790628.onlinehome.us/thumbnails.php?album=4 |
Re:another stealthmode oil line question
if you put the 45 degree elbow on it will it be able to flow down? cause it if can than that should be ok as long as gravity can do its thing

Re:another stealthmode oil line question
Hey, correct me if i am wrong, doesn't the Optional oil pressure ball valve makes the smoke go away? Stealthmode, can you verify this?

-kyle, stealthmode staff whenever I feel like it. |
Re:another stealthmode oil line question
same set up as me, rotate the center section for the compressor outlet to clear the xmember, redrill the hole on the wastegate, mount it with 1 bolt, 45 degree drain fitting. good to go ;)

Re:another stealthmode oil line question
ok, went to the local store and bought a 45 today. looks like its going to work. BTW: does any one have a pic or something that shows how much the oil level goes up on a civic/crx. it would be good to know where to put my bung for the return!
