another a/c question

Ok I live in hawaii and it's hot as hell literally. So I was wondering if the hks manifold with a t25 off an sr20det would clear the a/c? OR if anyone has any suggestion within the price range? forgot to mention it's going on an eg. TIA

somebody please! I know you're all thinking another f'ing newbie question and i know it is I just don't want to shell out three hundred bucks only to find out it won't fit. I am assuming it will since the hks gt turbos seem very similar to the japanese garaett I'm going to use. but i wanted a second opinion before buying one.

For a layman, that means it is a 92-95. ::)

Sounds like it would work since it is a smaller turbo, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Look at pics of the two turbos and see where the dp flanges sit in relation to the inlet flange. As long as it DOESN'T sit further to the left (towards the ac) on the t25, you should be ok. Wish I could help more than that. I've never seen the hks manifold, but I'm assuming it fits with a/c. The other thing is, hks might have a custom downpipe that bolts to the turbo, in which case you might have to do a lot of cutting and welding to get a decently-sized downpipe to fit well. Of course, with an itty-bitty T25, you don't really need over 1.5" do you? :P

Re:another a/c question

funny thing is I haven't even seen what the d series manifold from hks looks like. anyway from what i understand hks only makes a manifold for the d series no kit or dp's. however after reading around i hear that the theres a good chance the log manifold from BMC will work if I change my a/c fan? given the price and testimonies to his craftsmanship I like the sound of that! any input on that?

just making sure you know that the sr20 and other jdm t25s are different than the dsm ones...they are bigger

So after measuring, thinking it out, and kicking things around I have determined that I have a good chance if I can find a manifold that has it's flange facing down between the # 3 and 4 runners. does anyone know if the BMC log is like this or know of another manifold designed like that? I'd go with the lovefab shorty but man he wants me to ship the turbo up to him and believe me it ain't gonna be cheap from this stinkin island.
