Re: Angled oil return?
Depends on the angle. If that were an actual PHOTO and the angles, lengths were the same, I wouldnt try it. There's a long, level section which is not good. What about a tighter bend out of the turbo?

Re: Angled oil return?
Yea if you have it angled like that it probably won't be the best...why not angle it towards the oil pan?

Re: Angled oil return?
Get your ---- bolted up and then take a pic. From there we can recommend what fittings to use.

Re: Angled oil return?
Mine's angled the other way.. like the turbo drain is roughly 15 to 20* angled toward the oil pan from vertical.
I've never had problems with my turbo puking its guts out (and it's an oldass 14b). |
Re: Angled oil return?
let me get a pics... wont have a straight/flat part, i could clock it less if i needed it to. I have it like that because the oil restrictor shoots the oil line straight up into the hood.

Re: Angled oil return? ***PICS added***
the biggest angle allowed is 30 degrees

Re: Angled oil return? ***PICS added***
Gravity pulls oil downward.
If it's angled it'll take longer, so clock the turbo and you'll be set dude. |
