Well I am getting an intercooler here but the only thing is piping seems really expensive..........200 bucks on ebay!! Is there any way to get it cheaper? Making it or going to the junkyard??

Go to a local muffler shop and walk around back. There will be tones of old mufflers laying around with the original exhaust piping probably. Much of this will be mandrel bent piping that you can use. Dont waste your money on ebay.

That would be the ugliest mess of piping I could ever imagine. I guess if it saves you money.

you didnt want to pay for a cheap intercooler but willing to spend 200 on piping

i just went to a muffler shop and asked for some scrap. pointed me to the dumpster and said help yourself. there was a bunch of goodies including some clean 2.25" piping. then today i stopped by this welding place and they gave me some thick plates for free. im a happy camper

Cool....thanks for all the tips.....this will definitly save $$$..........also you wouldn't happen to know exactly what pipes I will need for a civic coupe? What I mean is what angles will I need the pipes bent......2 at 45 degree...2 at 90 degree?? If anyone knows this or where I would look that would be great!!

Go to summit racing, and they have mandrel bent pipes for ten buck 90 degree bends in all sizes, also straight ones too, aluminized steel, no rust, cut it how you want it.
