Had the two left bolts back out and cause an exhaust leak, tightened them and it was still leaking, so i took everything off and this is what i found. stick to metal gaskets, or just silicone and no gasket. HMT baby!!!

I like copper, dont have to replace it every time I have the turbo off like the stainless ones. Cant ------- find them in t3 anymore though.

fastspec2 03-29-2009 11:02 PM

make sure both flanges are bare, clean and flat and run no gasket.

HMTsol 03-30-2009 12:52 AM

its not easy to make that flat...
it might leak any way

just use SS gasket works the best

i_heart_my_ef 03-30-2009 01:40 AM

Price? Can you get copper 38mm wg gaskets too?

steelcityhonda 04-03-2009 04:28 PM

Go to your local auto parts store, ask for a turbo flange gasket for a saab 9-3, now you have a good t3 double layer stainless gasket. guaranteed not to leak.

digidan13 04-04-2009 01:58 AM

do it up man!

ONDUHFLO 04-04-2009 07:56 AM

Just use a pop can....It works great if you do it properly. Just make sure you trace out your holes properly, and use a hole punch. anything that doesnt line up will just crinkle, it needs to be flat.

repherence1 04-05-2009 07:50 AM

steelcityhonda 04-05-2009 04:05 PM
