Is it possible to make an adapter plate out of aluminum?... i figured it would be a little easier to work with. Will anything negative happen if i use aluminum?

 

Do you consider melting to be negative? :P

lol i'm just playing but seriously- I saw a picture of the aftermath of someone's adapter plate who tried it. If your EGT's get up there, it will melt apart. Don't do it. It's not worth it.
