Alternative intercooler Piping
I'm definately not a ricer ******, I'd duct tape toiletpaper rolls together if it worked. I guess I'll pcik up a flux core then, other than ebay, where can I get a nice cheap one at
its not only that pvc causes toxic fumes under extreme heat, it also gets brittle and snaps very easily. if your going to go with plumbing for intercooler piping, go with abs. trust me, i am a plumber. there was a thread where someone used some sort of truck radiator hose that was cheap as hell and can handle something like 300 psi. personally id rather use that stuff over plumbing which i know will go to ---- pretty quickly.
btw heres the thread.

You actually don't NEED an intercooler. especially during the colder months of the year. I ran a partial greddy kit minus the intercooler for 3 months or so during the winter last year, no problems and pretty much instant boost response. there is something to be said of air velocity in a system vs a disrupted flow at higher pressure. anyway, just make sure its a little rich to be safe and always put in 93 octane, and enjoy it till summer. after that, add a front mount and turn up the boost, and it will be like a whole new car again

I DO have silicone couplers in the few hot spots, but the rest are fernco, even the one in my intake mani! BTW, they've go some fucked up sizing thing listed on the labels that don't acually reflect what size they really are on the inside...so take a piece of you piping with you to double check your sizing.
Here's a link to what they look like....best part is, they are only a few bucks each
