What a drag. How many miles are on the motor?

Not much i blow head gasket water got in the cyl 1 and 2 at 6k rpm so i put a new head gasket on and did the compression test and time to take it back apart (----) to put new pistons in the dam thing :3

that sucks bro..I know with my b20a i saw the same results twice.. Rebuilt it the first time. Sold it to u the second time lol.. I would always know too. I would pop my hood to see TONS of oil that had shot out of my breather on the valve cover from all the blow by from the cracked ringlands. I feel u bro. Hope u get it back together asap! good luck!

Re: The Joy's of Boost

i don't see how that could hurt anything. might actually help against detonation because your getting rid of any deposits on the piston

I would scuff them to help form a nice carbon layer that will help to insulate the piston domes.

Polished surfaces could lead to hot pieces of carbon flaking off and leading to detonation, or worse.
