alky/water injection and egt temp !!
 
i am running (new project ;D)a cermic turbo at 14psi if i run alky/water injection will it drop my egt temp enough to
bump my psi to say 19-22 psi ?? with a good tune. the motor is a nissan rb20det......thanks mike

Do the Nissan ceramic wheels suffer the same problem as Toyota ones?

Yes! They enjoy self destruction at any major boost levels. You definitely won't need to be worrying about your EGT's lol. Grenaded compressor wheel into the cold side of your motor will be lots of fun, like pick up sticks or that game Operation.

Water/alcohol injection does not signifigantly alter the EGT.

it lowers the egt some. I was shooting in the high 1800 degrees at high rpms say above 8000 rpm at 23psi but now with a 50/50 mix I see 1600 to low 1700deg 7 gph nozzle on devils own progressive kit. I sometimes use windshield washer fluid mixed with heet

thanks for the help, i guess i will maybe give it a few more pounds of boost and see what happens !! be side
i can aways use a new BB turbo !! anyone else have any experience with ceramic turbos and uping the boost ??

Yeah, the compressor wheels turn to dust and your engine eats it. :S
