air temp. sensor???
 

on my d16y8...there's this sensor i think it has to do w/ the air temp. it used to go into the short ram intake when i didnt have turbo...but now since i have turbo...what do i do with that sensor?

install it in the intake that connects to the compressor housing, if you dont have a intake pipe and filter on your compressor inlet, get one and put the sensor, its good that a b16 has it in the intake manifold, and also d16z6. but try to do that.

couldn't you just install it in the final 6-8" of the charge pipe before the intake manifold ?

Id put it after the compressor so the ecu reads the correct inlet temp.

Ofcourse having in pre-compressor will run you a bit richer if thats something you need on your setup.

I would do it right before the throttle body, on the intake charge pipes..
