Re:air filter on turbo

A rubber coupling will be fine as long as it is not to long as it will squeeze in and contract, causing reduced flow!

Yeah, as civicvtec said a rubber coupling will work. I've heard that the home Depot plumbing couplers don't last though. I can't recall exactly why people don't like to use them but I thought it had something to do with them cracking and basically dry rotting apart. That of course in time could cause boost leaks.
Theres been a few posts on these things already, look around and see if you can find them. I'm sure the Home Depot ones will work fine for a little while, but see if you can pick up some silicon couplers sometime.

use tha home depot coupling damn it, even if it wears out after a while its only 3 buxx, if you buy 5 of them its still better than buying one hks boost coupling for 25 buxx.

Thats couse its 2.5" interior diameter.Out side is probabaly like 2.75".
The 3" should be ok.You can also buy 300 degree radiator hose at Napa auto parts for like 2 bucks a foot.I bought some the other day.

I figured you would know the answer to that one. ;) I just stole/found a ---- load of those couplers from some plumbers. I even got some flexable ones. I saw some that had a metal shield around them. They look crazy. I wonder if they hold a higher rating than the regular rubber ones? ???
