lookin for a air filter for a tight space, somthing i can find at a store or powersports place, i think the inlet on the 14b is about 2" so i was thinking maybe a cone filter for a motorcycle carb like a 52mm ? or would a small cone restrict to much air? any other ideas? dont really wana roll with a screen causei can pretty much see the inlet through my bumper

 

k&n makes every size and dimension out there, go on their site and get a product # there is a guy on ebay that sells every product from K&n

 

I used a K&N on my old 14b setup. I forgot the exact dimensions but its out there. It was just a lil cone. I think the ID of the inlet on the filter was 2.25.

 

I know just what you need. I was in the same postion with my 14b LS setup. You need to find a 2.5" to a 2" silicon reducer, then head to the parts store. Go to were the keep all the rice air filtesr and next to all of that crap is and an airfilter for 2 barrell Carbs. I believe it is a mrs. gasket brand. It comes with the filter and round tophat w/ and wing nut. Looks like this one Works great on my setup, I think K&N makes a replacement filter also.

 

I use big ITG Maxogen and I made adapter for it. Turbo needs a lot of air and I belive that small filters do not have enoguh surface to filter all the air.

 

i roll like a gangsta. no filter with a screen. i check my oil all the time. when it gets dirty i change it.

 

since your oil level matters so much when rocks and dirt is flyin up into you turbo.......

 

gay. i found a perfect k&n but no where stocks wierd ones so i have to wait a week or so
