hx40 is massive, you may get away with the hx35 though.

The HX35 is good for about 600~625hp, it uses a divided tang housing(in most cases) with a T3 flange. The HX40 is good for around 750hp and uses a T4 style exhaust housing, I believe. I would have to recommend you use the HX35, although your spool time is going to be a little laggy. My 2.0L b-series hits 12psi around 4500 rpm with the HX35, thats with an open 3" down pipe though. Any form of exhuast will raise that spool time obviously. When it comes on though it's real strong.

If you're thinking about running low boost the turbo probably won't be too happy with that, it likes to surge under 8psi on a small engine. If your engine had some rods pistons I'd say give it a shot, if not well....be careful and have it tuned on the safe side. Make sure what ever manfold you choose allows for plenty of clearance and is beefy in strength. Both the HX35 and HX40 wiegh in around 35lbs and have 8" wide compressors(some are wider depending on mounting tabs)

may as how do you have any suggestions for a set uf will say its a f22b1 out of the 94 ex accord will be built eventually with rods and pistons but am now just buying the stuff to do a sic build i read some were that a guy made 28 psi at 3.8k from a 2.5k launch

you seem like you know what it takes to make the turbo work maybe on the f22b1

f series heads flow like ass, you'd be pushing in way too much air

dont forget the HY35, it was offered on AUTO trucks instead of the HX35 wich came on the manual. it as a SINGLE t3 inlet not split like the hx and has a smaller AR i beleive its a 9cm instead of a 12. in theory should spool a little easier.

your are correct hy's have 9cm single scroll housing and a slightly smaller turbine wheel. I have a hx35 with the divider milled out so its more than 12cm now and with my 2.3L ford pos engine with a head that flows like crap and I see 9-10psi at 3000rpms on the two step. I see 1 psi at 2500, 7 by 3000ish, and 25 around 3800 once it hits 7-8 psi it freekin takes off.(all in second gear or higher my first is too short 28mph@6500rpms) and 600-625 is very optimistic if you ask me. they only flow 55lbs/min. with a honda head I might be able to belive that for crank hp but it would have to be a real nice tune to pull it off if you ask me.
