AFC Hack w/ bigger map sensor
 

OK, heres my dilema. I have a 91 crx si(d16a6) turboed with a T3. I know the limit for my map sensor is roughly ~9.5 psi. My wastegate is set at 10psi. Every so often when i boost i get the CEL for the map sensor seeing boost. I dont want to lower the psi any so what if i installed a 2 or 3 bar map sensor so it wont throw a cel for seeing boost? Can i still run properly with the AFC hack or would i need to run TurboEdit? I've read the TE forums and messed with the software but i still cant get it?!? maybe i'm just dumb! ::) please help! can i run a bigger map sensor with the hack an not have any problems or will the ecu freak out?!? thanks

this might be the wrong section to post but i need a quick answer and that doesnt happen in the EM section...

there is a way to set the afc to read properly from the 3 bar and scale it to the 1.75 bar readings for the ecu


but I don't remember what it is.
