advice
I drive a 1994 civic ex. I recently purchased a Gen2 DSM T25 Turbo with IC and BOV. Curious on what size piping to go with what would be my best bet for fuel management?

Re:advice
well i dont think the pipe sizing would do anything for your fuel management... but ive seen everyone recomend 2inch piping for anything less than 10psi.
as far as fuel management goes... you can go with an FMU and a bigger fuel pump.... or you can go with an Apex AFC and 450cc Mitsubishi Injectors. |
Re:advice
If I decide to go with the Apex'i S-AFC and Injectors, should I go with 450cc or a little smaller? I know that lots of people recommend the 450cc, but I have seen people use injectors that are much smaller.

Re:advice
If you use smaller injectors, you run the risk of a chek engin because of your map sensor. if you run bigger ones, you won't be able to back them down enough with the afc, and you will drown your engine. 450's are a "sweet spot" to quote jeff.

Re:advice
smaller injectors can work just as well too, the 450s are just a perfect range for our engines, and hp levels (in stock trim) Also, the fact that you can get them incredibly cheap at junkyards and online, this is another reason why they are used so much.
310's and the DSM 380's could probably do the trick damn good too, but you will still need a controller so it wont be so rich at idle, (310's you might be able to get away with) Jeff |
Re:advice
What cars in the junk yards have them?

Re:advice
look around for the cars with all the injectors raped out of em and you'll know which car had em.. but seriously all manual turbo eclipse's and talon's are equiped with 450cc Injectors.. in addtion the automatic injectors I believe to be 390cc.
