actuator pressure feed

Hi all,

just looking for sum help

can i run a feed of my J pipe befor the T/B and manifold for the actuator on my turbo???

Would this help keep boost response accurate, and helps the actuator be bit more precise, so it does not spike and then go back down???

Thanks

Where exactly is the J-pipe? When I think J-pipe-, I think of the pipe coming right off the turbo on say a 16G setup. But yes, you can run your wastegate line off a nipple on the charge piping. I've ran it off the pipe right after the outlet of the turbo before.

Thanks what im thining of doing!!! running it of the charge pipe be for the intercooler,

Would this be better than running it of a tapped feed on the intake manifold???

I don't know what's better or worse. I run mine right off the fitting on the compressor housing now, which is similar to just running it off the pipe. That's pretty much how I've always done it, and it works fine. I have once, Tee'd off the line that went from the manifold to the BOV, but I've heard that isn't the best way. So now I always run it off the charge pipe/compressor.
