it is and it isn't all in the same. the stock t-25 wastegate acuator has a kink right after the diaphram. to lower boost you could attach a spring to arm and assist the wastegate to open (less effort to open wastegate) but the only thing in the faq that talks about lowering boost says to take a carb spring and put it against the diaphram and against the actual arm to assist in opening the wastegate.https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...;threadid=2952

My T25 (from a 2G dsm) sits on exactly 7 psi without any modification or boost controller. This is with the wastegate vacuum routed to the intake manifold, which is the proper way to do it. I get boost spikes to about 8.5 psi occasionally, but they're no big deal. Besides, I sorta like 'em. If you want to eliminate boost spikes, and even reduce boost at high revs and WOT, then route the wastegate vacuum to that extra fitting on the compressor housing itself. The intercooler/charge pipes will provide enough resistance at high volumes to cut your boost a pound or so.
