it feeds your turbo with oil after you shut your engine if you go to summitracing.com and look up part # mor-23930 it should give a good pic and right up

why do you do that again?
whats the difference between that and just using a turbo timer? I know turbo timer is for cooling the turbo but whats the real significance of the accumulator then?

i think the point to the accumulator is to store pressurized oil shortly before you shut down the motor. then you release it back into the system just before you start the motor back up again. i think there are electric pre-lube systems available that serve the same purpose.

Is it necessary? I mean there will be oil left in the turbo for a bit anyways and even then within the first turnover of the crank you'll get oil into the turbo before it even hits high RPMs'... <SHRUG> Its ok i'm just a dolt...

I think a turbo timer serves the same purpose and would be less of a hassle

it works in place of A turbo timer.and its cheaper. it feeds the turbo with oil after the engine is shut off.
