I here that. I think the amount of money i sepend on project beer usually costs more than the project itself

Rocky Mount, NC. I-95 goes right through the middle of the city. about an hour from the VA border. Let me know when the meet is and I'm down as long as I can handle getting off work.

Will be in jacksonville.. Carlos wants my help on some ----, might help Antoine out with his project too (Accords everywhere). I would like to get wideband before then.. we'll see. I might do some welding for people, not really sure what's up yet. Thinking in about a month?

There is one more thing I just now remembered, it would be very nice to have a junker head around for the build. This is necessary so the bitch doesn't warp up on me while doing final welds (tacking doesn't much matter). I never really gave this much thought since I have so many sbc and a b18a1 head floating around me.

would the p05 map you had run on a p06 or is it a different base??

Its not even a p05 map its actually the p06 but i guess the memory locations are the same for the two ecu's. I'll do some more testing today and get it running as close to stock as possible, send that map to carlos and have him work his magic.

Carlos,
the map u sent me b4 i went to the movies doesn't have enough fuel at idle and it causes sputtering, irratic idle, and revs bounce all over the place. I'll have to recheck the map but i think it has both low/hi cam and fuel maps...makes ---- go bonkers

The weirdest thing happened to me saturday night...Ok so after carlos sends me the map he wants me to try out, i pop it in and since it doesn't work as well as the other map i had, i switched them, headed off to the movies, and made my way back home. Well on saturday nights all the racers come out and meet up at the far end of the local walmart parking lot. I was just gonna drive through real quick and head to the house but my girl and i get flagged down by an old friend of her's. So we park at the furthest spot away from everybody else. I get out the laptop (had it with me for on-the-fly tuning), chip burner and a couple of eproms and set everything up on the hood of my car. I'd backed into the parking space so my intercooler was facing the crowd and these two guys walk up to me during one of my chip burns (altering carlos' map). And start asking "So what u running? Swap?" I politely answered "no its the stock engine." So the guys continue to ask more questions about my fuel and engine management and i answer accordingly. Well they stopped after about the 3rd or 4th question and things got real quiet. I'd just finished burning the eprom with an altered map i turn around to head to the passenger side to pop in the eprom and i swear to u about 25-30 ppl are standing right in front of my car with the most perplexed look on their faces LMAO! It startled the ---- out of me! None of them were there b4 and suddenly i've got a gang of ppl staring right at me. The only thing that i could really reply to the crowd was..."What?" lol. I didn't want to go into details about what i was doing so i just gave the crowd a wave, said hello, answered the various "what turbo you runnin'?" questions and minded my own business. I guess i kinda set myself up for it putting my laptop on the hood tho lol

Right both P05 and P06 ecu's should use the same maps. I'm pretty sure the differences between the two is transparent when it comes to mapping. The O2 heater is heated by a seperate component.
