? About wategate dump tube?
I've noticed that most if not all people running an external wastegate have their dump tube connect to their exhaust somewhere under or between the engine and firewall. Any reason why? Couldn't you just connect the dump tube let's say 1 ft. after the exhaust flange from the turbo?

Re: ? About wategate dump tube?
alot of people state that turbulence or some ---- (from the sudden purge of exhaust gases from the wastegate) will disturb the flow of the exhaust and hinder performance.they say that routing the tube farther back into the down pipe/exhaust will remedy this. some do it, but others just dump it.

Noticed your fairly local to me in the GTA to
Why do you care about noise when the dump is open? It is only making noise when youre boosting, and it sounds sick
A lot more power, and personally, a better noise and less fabrication with an open dumptube

I have read on this forum, not to long ago, depending on you're setup, some sound good, others sound like total ----. I guess i could fabricate my dump tube to eventually connect with the rest of the exhaust pending on how loud or shitty it sounds.
