Default 99 gs turbo project **lots of pic**

this is my friends 99 gs. he got some money from a little accident and decided to turbo it instead of fixing it. he got a jg log and 550cc rx7injectors from ef8 h0! on here, ebay IC, ssautocrome t3 super sixty w/ internal WG, stealthmode oil lines, chipped p75 by kno (revtech), conversion harness from xenocron and misc. stuff from all over. here are some pic.

note my second time doing this.

night before he dropped of the car.

we mocked up the IC a few days before

new rx7 550cc injectors

my neighbors clips from his old z1

home depot plumbing

bov not installed yet, should be done later today

mocking up the downpipe (sucks doing it by your self )

something that i think came out looking good

a necessity in every garage

stealthmode oil return, almost a little short but no leaks

my crx parts becoming useful

leaks on the sides. NEED ADVICE ! ! !

the ONLY thing the owner did by himself (other then holding ---- for me)

after a little run down the street.

everything seems to be working fine, we have a scheduled tune next week some time. the only problem we got is that we have an oil leak in the back of the engine and i cant seem to find it. its not the oil lines it seems dry around it, the oil filter is tight as i can get it so idk, any ideas ??**fixed**

Looks like a good solid HMT kit, nice job.

One thing that drives me crazy though is how you said in the beginning that he was using the money for fixing his car on his turbo kit. I'd say easily that 3-4 years ago, I would have done the same exact thing. But now, I'm so sick of my cars not having a nice body on them. Like my neon, it looks fine from far away, but it's got so many door dings on it and the clearcoat is peeling in places. I think that now, if I got money to fix my car, that's exactly what I would use it for.

One question, any particular reason you gave yourself so much room on the downpipe? is that to fit in a dumptube if your friend decides to go external gate later?

again, good work.

welding was done by a muffler shop b/c the electrician didnt have time to come out and make a 220 plug.

i used teflon on all my fittings, the oil seems to be coming from right above the intermidiat shaft. there is no oil around the fittings on the block. i dont have time to look at it now, but ill see what i can find tomorrow.

You can actually buy 38mm block off plates. They are available everywhere.
